Start with the symptom below. Use the grouped questions afterward for policy details.
Qoder CN currently has two product lines, each using a different account system:
Check the full product name and commodity code in your order details. A
For other orders, check the full product name and the instance associated with the order.
Qoder CN Suite Teams and Enterprise support RAM sign-in after an administrator configures the RAM OAuth application and enables RAM sign-in for the enterprise. See RAM user access. Members need an available seat; permission to place an order does not grant product usage rights.
Original Lingma Enterprise Standard/Dedicated customers use their existing enterprise authorization process. Individual subscriptions do not support RAM sub-account usage.
This means the account you're signed in with has no valid subscription associated. Please check:
Yes. qoder.cn is the official site for the Qoder CN (Suite) product line, operated by Alibaba Cloud. It's a different product entry point of the same company as aliyun.com. Orders placed on qoder.cn are still processed through the Alibaba Cloud transaction system under the hood.
No. Credits for the two product lines are completely independent:
Once Credits are exhausted, advanced models (such as Agent mode) become unavailable, and the system automatically falls back to a basic model that provides limited capabilities like code completion. You can restore access by purchasing an add-on resource package or waiting for the next billing cycle (when Plan Credits reset).
Consumption varies significantly by operating mode:
Common reasons for higher-than-expected consumption: Agent mode triggers multiple model calls in the background, consuming far more than a plain Ask request; refreshing or retrying a conversation also generates new model-call consumption. If a system glitch causes a refresh loop, please report it through the in-app feedback channel.
Plan Credits (the quota included with your subscription) reset based on your purchase date, not the calendar month. For example, if you purchased on July 5, the next reset occurs on August 5. Unused Plan Credits do not carry over to the next cycle — they reset to zero. Add-on Credits (resource packages) have their own independent validity period and don't follow the subscription cycle.
No. Qoder CN and Qoder have different pricing, and their Credits are not interchangeable or convertible.
In most cases, this is because the client's cached status hasn't refreshed. Fully sign out of your Qoder CN account in the IDE, close and reopen the IDE, then sign in again. If it still shows Trial, confirm that the account you're signed in with matches the account used for purchase.
Alibaba Cloud accounts must complete real-name verification before purchasing cloud products. Go to the Alibaba Cloud real-name verification page to complete individual or enterprise verification, then proceed with your purchase.
The displayed monthly price is the edition's unit price, not the amount payable for every modification order. Check the original subscription validity, added seat count, monthly or annual cycle, and discounts. Check charges and Credits separately. See Add seats for effective times, cutoffs, and verification steps.
Sign in to qoder.cn with the personal account to upgrade and open Account Center > My Bills. Find the upgrade entry in the current subscription information and select the target plan; choose to purchase Pro if you have no paid plan. Check the plan, cycle, and amount before paying, then verify the new plan and Credits in Account Center. See the personal upgrade guide.
The following rules apply to Pro → Pro+, Pro → Ultra, and Pro+ → Ultra. Once payment succeeds, the original subscription becomes inactive immediately, and you receive a refund based on the remaining value of its Credits. If those Credits have been used up, no refund is issued. The new subscription takes effect immediately. This action is irreversible. The original subscription’s remaining Credits are removed from your account; they are not carried over to the new subscription or converted into a resource pack.
Qoder CN (Full Suite) personal subscriptions can be purchased on a monthly or annual cycle. The cycle selected for the initial purchase determines the auto-renewal cycle: a monthly purchase renews monthly, while an annual purchase renews annually. Log in to qoder.cn and go to Account Center > My Bills to view the current auto-renewal cycle.
No. On the My Bills page, click Renew and choose a monthly or annual manual renewal. Manual renewal only extends the current subscription's validity period and does not change its auto-renewal cycle. The auto-renewal cycle remains the monthly or annual cycle selected for the initial purchase.
See Refund Description for subscription eligibility, the application channel, and resource-package restrictions. Do not assume that every order qualifies for a five-day unconditional refund. Migration exceptions apply only to the original orders covered by the relevant migration guide.
Check the charged order, payment time, and refund status in Billing Query. Canceling auto-renewal and requesting a refund are separate actions. If the charge or refund status is unclear, contact qoder@service.aliyun.com with the order number, account information, request time, and status screenshot.
See the "Order refunds" section in Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) Individual Edition Upgrade Guide. After upgrading, your historical session data migrates without loss. Refunds and balance handling for the original order follow that document.
Use the purchasing account and order number to check payment status, amount paid, discounts, and refund records through Billing query. Credits are not payment amounts, and the current plan does not replace a historical order receipt. A zero or missing amount, or an order not yet found, does not alone establish nonpayment or a completed refund.
Orders placed on qoder.cn are processed through the Alibaba Cloud transaction system under the hood. Sign in to the Alibaba Cloud console with the Alibaba Cloud account bound at purchase time, then submit an invoice request from Billing Center → Invoice Management. If you can't find the corresponding billing record there, confirm that both accounts are tied to the same phone number and Alibaba Cloud UID.
No. QoderWork CN doesn't support connecting custom models via a Token Plan. QoderWork uses the Credits quota included in your subscription plan. Token Plans only apply to scenarios where you call models directly via API.
This is usually related to unstable network conditions or transient server-side issues. Please check:
This is a QoderWork safety mechanism — when the system detects the AI repeating the same operation in a loop during execution, it proactively stops to avoid wasting Credits. We recommend making your task instructions more specific and detailed, then retrying. If the same task repeatedly triggers this message, please report it through the feedback channel.
Because Credits from original Lingma orders don't apply in QoderWork. QoderWork belongs to the Suite product line, so you need a separate Qoder CN (Suite) subscription to use paid features in QoderWork.
The Configuration Administrator has no Credits, is used only for purchasing and configuration, and does not occupy a usage seat. This does not mean the enterprise order failed to activate. Check the order and instance, then have an authorized administrator add actual users and assign seats. Members sign in with their own accounts and verify features and Credits in the intended organization. See Members and Roles.
The instance is released immediately upon expiration. Purchase a new instance, select Existing organization, and enter the original organization ID. Binding requires that the original organization has no active subscription.
After purchase, check the organization ID, edition, seats, and validity, and verify member access. Matching names do not establish correct binding. Binding does not guarantee automatic recovery of all old resources or unused Credits. See Impact of order expiration.
Unsubscribe from the original Teams instance or wait for its expiration and release. Create an Enterprise instance, select Existing organization, and enter the original Teams organization ID. The new instance inherits organization structure data through this binding. Check refund and entitlement impacts before unsubscribing. See Modify subscription.
Confirm the actual account and organization. With a shared pool, the member needs a valid seat and organization balance, without reaching personal or applicable group limits. Another member's ability to use the product does not establish the affected member's available limit.
Ask an administrator to check the member status, seat, personal usage and limit, and group usage and limit. Raising limits does not add organization Credits. See Shared Credits and limits.
No. A personal limit caps usage; it does not reserve or issue Credits to an individual. Usage remains subject to valid organization balance, applicable group limits, and member eligibility.
At 00:00 on April 2, the following day. If the order already shows a complete cutoff time, use that exact time without adding a day. Check subscription expiration separately from Credits resets. See Expiration times.
Yes. Suite Teams, Enterprise, and Enterprise VPC offer monthly or annual subscriptions. Check the edition, seat count, purchase duration, and amount payable. Annual Enterprise and Enterprise VPC subscriptions still issue Credits monthly rather than allocating the entire year at once. See Accounts and Subscriptions.
Depending on your edition:
Enterprise Edition seat Credits reset based on the purchase date, not the calendar month. For example, if purchased on the 5th, the next reset occurs on the 5th of the following month.
The Configuration Administrator handles purchasing and configuration. Automation uses a service account and its credentials. Service accounts do not occupy member seats, and usage is tracked separately. See Service Accounts for enablement and limits. No member Credits on the configuration account does not establish the SA billing state.
Postpaid is a billing method; an SA Credits limit is a usage control. Enabling postpaid billing does not remove that limit. Check usage and the limit for the current period, then check organization enablement, credentials, and overdue payments in Alibaba Cloud.
Qoder CN's VSCode plugin is deprecated and no longer maintained. We recommend switching to Qoder CN IDE (a standalone desktop app with the most complete feature set) or the JetBrains plugin. Existing VSCode plugin users can continue using it, but it will no longer receive new feature updates.
Yes. The rebrand doesn't affect your existing subscription. "Tongyi Lingma" and "Qoder CN (formerly Lingma)" are different names for the same product — your subscription, Credits, and usage history remain unchanged.
There's no difference — they're different historical names for the same product: Lingma IDE → Qoder CN IDE → Qoder CN Desktop → Qoder CN IDE (current name). Functionality is identical; only the name changed as the brand evolved.

Account & Login
What's the relationship between my Alibaba Cloud account and my Qoder CN account (qoder.cn)?
Qoder CN currently has two product lines, each using a different account system:
- Qoder CN (formerly Lingma): Sign in with your Alibaba Cloud account; purchase and manage from the Alibaba Cloud console (qoder.console.aliyun.com).
- Qoder CN (Suite): Sign in with a Qoder CN account (registered at qoder.cn); purchase and manage from qoder.cn.
I'm not sure which product line I purchased. How can I tell?
Check the full product name and commodity code in your order details. A lingma_ prefix alone does not identify the original Lingma line: Suite products also use this prefix.
| Commodity code | Suite edition |
|---|---|
lingma_CNteams_public_cn | Teams |
lingma_CNenterprise_public_cn | Enterprise |
lingma_CNenterpriseVPC_public_cn | Enterprise VPC |
Can a RAM sub-account use Qoder CN?
Qoder CN Suite Teams and Enterprise support RAM sign-in after an administrator configures the RAM OAuth application and enables RAM sign-in for the enterprise. See RAM user access. Members need an available seat; permission to place an order does not grant product usage rights.
Original Lingma Enterprise Standard/Dedicated customers use their existing enterprise authorization process. Individual subscriptions do not support RAM sub-account usage.
What does "No Qoder access permission" mean when signing in?
This means the account you're signed in with has no valid subscription associated. Please check:
- Whether the sign-in account matches the account used for purchase
- If you're an Enterprise Edition member, confirm your administrator has assigned you a seat
- For Suite enterprise subscriptions, use the email, SSO, or RAM sign-in method enabled by your administrator.
Is qoder.cn an official Alibaba Cloud site?
Yes. qoder.cn is the official site for the Qoder CN (Suite) product line, operated by Alibaba Cloud. It's a different product entry point of the same company as aliyun.com. Orders placed on qoder.cn are still processed through the Alibaba Cloud transaction system under the hood.
Credits & Quota
Can Credits from the original Lingma line and the Suite line be used interchangeably?
No. Credits for the two product lines are completely independent:
- Credits from original Lingma orders only work in the Desktop app / JetBrains plugin / VSCode plugin
- Credits from Suite orders apply to products supported by that subscription. Check Billing; the “Full Suite” name alone does not establish support for every product.
What happens when Credits run out?
Once Credits are exhausted, advanced models (such as Agent mode) become unavailable, and the system automatically falls back to a basic model that provides limited capabilities like code completion. You can restore access by purchasing an add-on resource package or waiting for the next billing cycle (when Plan Credits reset).
Why is my Credits consumption higher than expected?
Consumption varies significantly by operating mode:
| Operation | Typical consumption |
|---|---|
| Editor - Ask mode | ~3-4 Credits / request |
| Editor - Agent mode | ~7-12 Credits / request |
When do monthly Credits reset?
Plan Credits (the quota included with your subscription) reset based on your purchase date, not the calendar month. For example, if you purchased on July 5, the next reset occurs on August 5. Unused Plan Credits do not carry over to the next cycle — they reset to zero. Add-on Credits (resource packages) have their own independent validity period and don't follow the subscription cycle.
How do I check my remaining Credits balance?
- IDE / JetBrains plugin: Click the Credits usage button in the bottom-right corner of the window
- QoderWork CN: Click the Credits usage button in the top-right corner of the app
- Qoder CN CLI: Run the
/usagecommand - On the website (QoderWork / CLI only): Sign in to qoder.cn → avatar in the top-right corner → Settings > Usage
Are Qoder CN Credits equivalent to Qoder (global) Credits?
No. Qoder CN and Qoder have different pricing, and their Credits are not interchangeable or convertible.
Purchase & Activation
I see a quota limit or cannot use the product after purchasing. What should I check?
- Identity and organization: Confirm the product line and selected organization. Enterprise members should use the SSO, email, or RAM sign-in method configured by their administrator. The purchaser does not automatically occupy a usable seat.
- Order and subscription: Check that payment succeeded and the subscription is active, using Billing Query.
- Membership and seat: Ask the administrator to confirm that you joined the intended organization and occupy a seat. See Members and Roles.
- Balance and limits: Check the enterprise balance, personal usage limit, and billing-group limit separately. A positive enterprise balance does not bypass member or group limits. See Groups and Billing Groups.
- Credits delivery: Compare the current cycle and Credits acquisition log. If purchased or monthly Credits are missing, record the order and expected cycle and contact support. Do not repeatedly purchase packages to resolve an unexplained delivery issue.
- Client and network: Sign out and back in after confirming the above. VPC users should also follow the VPC guide.
I just purchased a plan, but the IDE still shows "Trial" or "Community." Why?
In most cases, this is because the client's cached status hasn't refreshed. Fully sign out of your Qoder CN account in the IDE, close and reopen the IDE, then sign in again. If it still shows Trial, confirm that the account you're signed in with matches the account used for purchase.
I got a message asking for real-name verification during purchase. What should I do?
Alibaba Cloud accounts must complete real-name verification before purchasing cloud products. Go to the Alibaba Cloud real-name verification page to complete individual or enterprise verification, then proceed with your purchase.
Why is the additional-seat charge different from the displayed monthly price?
The displayed monthly price is the edition's unit price, not the amount payable for every modification order. Check the original subscription validity, added seat count, monthly or annual cycle, and discounts. Check charges and Credits separately. See Add seats for effective times, cutoffs, and verification steps.
Refunds & Renewals
How do I purchase or upgrade a personal subscription?
Sign in to qoder.cn with the personal account to upgrade and open Account Center > My Bills. Find the upgrade entry in the current subscription information and select the target plan; choose to purchase Pro if you have no paid plan. Check the plan, cycle, and amount before paying, then verify the new plan and Credits in Account Center. See the personal upgrade guide.
What happens to remaining Credits when I upgrade a paid personal subscription?
The following rules apply to Pro → Pro+, Pro → Ultra, and Pro+ → Ultra. Once payment succeeds, the original subscription becomes inactive immediately, and you receive a refund based on the remaining value of its Credits. If those Credits have been used up, no refund is issued. The new subscription takes effect immediately. This action is irreversible. The original subscription’s remaining Credits are removed from your account; they are not carried over to the new subscription or converted into a resource pack.
Which purchase and renewal cycles are available for personal subscriptions?
Qoder CN (Full Suite) personal subscriptions can be purchased on a monthly or annual cycle. The cycle selected for the initial purchase determines the auto-renewal cycle: a monthly purchase renews monthly, while an annual purchase renews annually. Log in to qoder.cn and go to Account Center > My Bills to view the current auto-renewal cycle.
Does manual renewal change the auto-renewal cycle?
No. On the My Bills page, click Renew and choose a monthly or annual manual renewal. Manual renewal only extends the current subscription's validity period and does not change its auto-renewal cycle. The auto-renewal cycle remains the monthly or annual cycle selected for the initial purchase.
How do I cancel auto-renewal?
- Original Lingma orders: Sign in to the Alibaba Cloud console → Billing Center → Auto-Renewal Management, find the relevant instance, and turn off auto-renewal.
- Suite orders: Sign in to qoder.cn → Account Center → My Bills → Manage Subscription, and turn off auto-renewal.
How do I request a refund?
See Refund Description for subscription eligibility, the application channel, and resource-package restrictions. Do not assume that every order qualifies for a five-day unconditional refund. Migration exceptions apply only to the original orders covered by the relevant migration guide.
I canceled renewal or requested a refund, but a charge remains. What should I check?
Check the charged order, payment time, and refund status in Billing Query. Canceling auto-renewal and requesting a refund are separate actions. If the charge or refund status is unclear, contact qoder@service.aliyun.com with the order number, account information, request time, and status screenshot.
After upgrading from the original Lingma line to the Suite, how is my old order handled?
See the "Order refunds" section in Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) Individual Edition Upgrade Guide. After upgrading, your historical session data migrates without loss. Refunds and balance handling for the original order follow that document.
Invoices & Billing
How do I verify payment amounts and refund results?
Use the purchasing account and order number to check payment status, amount paid, discounts, and refund records through Billing query. Credits are not payment amounts, and the current plan does not replace a historical order receipt. A zero or missing amount, or an order not yet found, does not alone establish nonpayment or a completed refund.
How do I get an invoice for an order purchased on qoder.cn?
Orders placed on qoder.cn are processed through the Alibaba Cloud transaction system under the hood. Sign in to the Alibaba Cloud console with the Alibaba Cloud account bound at purchase time, then submit an invoice request from Billing Center → Invoice Management. If you can't find the corresponding billing record there, confirm that both accounts are tied to the same phone number and Alibaba Cloud UID.
QoderWork
Can QoderWork use a Token Plan?
No. QoderWork CN doesn't support connecting custom models via a Token Plan. QoderWork uses the Credits quota included in your subscription plan. Token Plans only apply to scenarios where you call models directly via API.
QoderWork frequently shows "Empty response" errors. What should I do?
This is usually related to unstable network conditions or transient server-side issues. Please check:
- Confirm QoderWork is on the latest version (Help → About)
- Check your network environment — corporate intranets or VPNs can cause connection interruptions
- If you're on the latest version and your network is fine, report the issue through QoderWork's in-app feedback channel and include the request_id
What does "Execution stopped due to a repeated loop" mean when running a task?
This is a QoderWork safety mechanism — when the system detects the AI repeating the same operation in a loop during execution, it proactively stops to avoid wasting Credits. We recommend making your task instructions more specific and detailed, then retrying. If the same task repeatedly triggers this message, please report it through the feedback channel.
Why can't I see my original Lingma subscription quota in QoderWork?
Because Credits from original Lingma orders don't apply in QoderWork. QoderWork belongs to the Suite product line, so you need a separate Qoder CN (Suite) subscription to use paid features in QoderWork.
Enterprise Edition
I purchased Teams. Why does the Configuration Administrator still show Free or no Credits?
The Configuration Administrator has no Credits, is used only for purchasing and configuration, and does not occupy a usage seat. This does not mean the enterprise order failed to activate. Check the order and instance, then have an authorized administrator add actual users and assign seats. Members sign in with their own accounts and verify features and Credits in the intended organization. See Members and Roles.
How do I return to the original organization after enterprise subscription expiration?
The instance is released immediately upon expiration. Purchase a new instance, select Existing organization, and enter the original organization ID. Binding requires that the original organization has no active subscription.
After purchase, check the organization ID, edition, seats, and validity, and verify member access. Matching names do not establish correct binding. Binding does not guarantee automatic recovery of all old resources or unused Credits. See Impact of order expiration.
How do I upgrade Teams to Enterprise?
Unsubscribe from the original Teams instance or wait for its expiration and release. Create an Enterprise instance, select Existing organization, and enter the original Teams organization ID. The new instance inherits organization structure data through this binding. Check refund and entitlement impacts before unsubscribing. See Modify subscription.
Why can a member not use the product when the organization still has Credits?
Confirm the actual account and organization. With a shared pool, the member needs a valid seat and organization balance, without reaching personal or applicable group limits. Another member's ability to use the product does not establish the affected member's available limit.
Ask an administrator to check the member status, seat, personal usage and limit, and group usage and limit. Raising limits does not add organization Credits. See Shared Credits and limits.
Does a personal limit of 8,000 Credits mean I have received 8,000 Credits?
No. A personal limit caps usage; it does not reserve or issue Credits to an individual. Usage remains subject to valid organization balance, applicable group limits, and member eligibility.
Why is a purchased resource package missing from the current organization?
- Check the product line, personal or organization package type, and order status.
- Check the organization ID associated with the order's instance against the organization you are viewing.
- In the correct organization, check the package amount, effective date, and expiration.
- If the package arrived but only one member cannot use it, check that member's seat, personal limit, and applicable group limit.
If the expiration date is April 1, when does validity end?
At 00:00 on April 2, the following day. If the order already shows a complete cutoff time, use that exact time without adding a day. Check subscription expiration separately from Credits resets. See Expiration times.
Do CN enterprise editions support annual subscriptions?
How do I assign seats to members in Enterprise Edition?
Depending on your edition:
- Original Lingma Enterprise Standard Edition: Administrators sign in to the Alibaba Cloud console (qoder.console.aliyun.com/instances/standard) → Authorization Management → add RAM sub-accounts and assign seats
- Suite Teams / Enterprise: See Members and Roles for SSO, email invitation, and RAM access.
