Qoder CN IDE / JetBrains plugin: Login methods

If you have updated your Qoder IDE or JetBrains plugin and see a new "Log in with Qoder CN" option on the login page, this guide clarifies the new "Log in with Qoder CN" option, its impact, and any steps you need to take.

Why have the login options changed?

Building on the AI coding assistant Tongyi Lingma (formerly Lingma), the Qoder CN product family has expanded to include QoderWork CN, Qoder CN CLI, QoderWake CN, and Qoder CN Cloud Agents. Starting June 20, 2026, the Qoder CN (full suite) will gradually allow a single account and subscription to unlock all products. This is already supported for the personal edition (Community and Pro), enterprise teams edition, and enterprise VPC edition. The upgraded account system uses a unified "Qoder CN account" for login. As a result, you will now see a new entry on the IDE plugin's login page:

Login scenarios

Case 1: Existing users (IDE only)

You do not need to take any immediate action. You can continue to use your original login method, "Log in with Alibaba Cloud account", to access all Qoder CN (Lingma) features. However, please note:

• Upgrading to a Qoder CN (full suite) account gives you access to more limited-time promotions, such as the "200 free daily calls" for Qwen3.7-Max.
• The original login method is only available for a transition period. After this period, all users will need to log in with a Qoder CN account. We will notify you in advance. We recommend upgrading at your earliest convenience to avoid a forced migration later.

Case 2: Existing users with QoderWork CN

You can now upgrade the personal edition. Support for the enterprise standard and enterprise-dedicated editions is coming soon. We strongly recommend upgrading and merging your Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) account benefits into your Qoder CN (full suite) account. For instructions, see the Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) personal edition upgrade guide. Follow these steps to log in again:

1. Ensure your IDE plugin is updated to the latest version.
2. On the login page, select "Log in with Qoder CN".
3. Use your Qoder CN account to log in on the Qoder CN official website at https://qoder.cn/.

After you log in, the system automatically migrates your AI chat history, personal configuration, and code context, allowing you to continue using the service without interruption. However, please note: The Qoder CN (full suite) account is not supported on the VSC plugin.

Case 3: QoderWork CN users using the IDE

For the personal edition, a single account already unlocks the entire Qoder CN (full suite). You can download the latest version of the IDE or JetBrains plugin from https://qoder.cn/download and select "Log in with Qoder CN" to log in. Support for enterprise editions is coming soon.

Case 4: New users without an account

If you are an individual user, you must first go to the Qoder CN official website to register an account using your mobile phone number. You can then log in to any product in the Qoder CN (full suite).

Q: Difference between Qoder CN and Qoder CN logins

These options use different account systems. The legacy login uses an Alibaba Cloud account for Qoder CN (Lingma), whereas "Log in with Qoder CN" is for the new, unified account that covers the entire Qoder CN (full suite). If you have upgraded, you can only use the "Log in with Qoder CN" option.

Q: Transition period and deprecation

We will announce the specific deprecation date in advance through in-IDE notifications and public announcements. Until then, users who have not upgraded can continue to use the original login method.

Q: Data preservation after upgrade

Yes. The upgrade process automatically migrates your AI chat history, personal configuration, and code context to your new account. No manual action is required.

Q: Impact on enterprise users

The enterprise dedicated URL login method is not affected for now. We will notify your enterprise administrator of any changes separately.

Q: Meaning of the "Upgraded" status

This indicates that the identity has been migrated. You can no longer log in with that identity using the original method. Please select "Log in with Qoder CN" on the IDE login page to use your upgraded account.
