Supported IM platforms

Admin configuration
Navigate to Admin Console → Enterprise Settings → IM Channel:
- The page lists all supported channel types, each with a toggle switch on the right.
- Enabled: Members can use the channel. Disabled: The channel is unavailable to members.
- You must confirm any status change. Changes take effect immediately after confirmation.
Member experience
- Disabled channels are greyed out and cannot be selected.
- A tooltip on the greyed-out item reads: "Your organization has restricted this IM channel. To enable it, please contact your enterprise admin."
- When an admin disables a channel, the system automatically deactivates existing connections and notifies affected members.
Configuration examples

Notes
- The policy applies to all Qoder CN products within a Team.
- This policy also applies to enterprise admins.
- Changes take effect shortly after you save them. Members do not need to sign out and back in.
- For new organizations: All IM channels are disabled by default. An enterprise admin must enable them as needed.
- For newly introduced channels: New IM channels are disabled by default. An enterprise admin must manually enable them before members can use them.
