This topic is a one-time account upgrade guide for Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) Enterprise Standard Edition instances. It explains how to upgrade existing enterprise instances to a Qoder CN full-suite account, so that a single subscription unlocks the full product line, including the IDE, JetBrains plug-in, QoderWork CN, CLI, Wake, Mobile, Cloud Agents, and more.
Before June 2026, Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) and other Qoder CN series products such as QoderWork CN belonged to two separate account systems. Enterprises that wanted to use both Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) and QoderWork CN had to purchase separate subscriptions.
To help existing enterprise customers transition smoothly to the new system and enjoy the full-suite capabilities, a one-time upgrade path is provided for existing enterprise subscription accounts.
The enterprise management capabilities of Qoder CN (full suite) differ from the original Lingma in supported product scope and enterprise management. Please try it out to confirm it meets your needs and accept the differences. Comparison of the original Lingma subscription and the Qoder CN (full suite) enterprise subscription
Based on the type of Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) subscription you hold, refer to the following table for the different upgrade plans:
The handling of refunds and credits transfer under the different upgrade plans is as follows:
After the upgrade is complete, we recommend the administrator complete the following operations in order:
1. Configure member sign-in methods
Configure sign-in methods for the members of the target instance. If the enterprise previously signed in with Alibaba Cloud RAM accounts, you need to enable and configure the RAM OAuth application in Qoder CN (full suite) (see the "RAM account sign-in" questions in the FAQ).
2. Notify enterprise members
Notify all members that the upgrade is complete and send the following information: the sign-in entry and method for the new instance; instructions for migrating session history from the original instance; VSC plug-in users need to switch to the IDE or JetBrains plug-in.
3. Help members migrate session history
Members can merge the session history under their old instance account into the new instance in the IDE / JetBrains plug-in (see the sign-in and migration guide for details).
4. Handle the original instance (optional)
After confirming that all members have completed migration, the administrator can decide whether to delete the original instance. The original instance cannot be renewed after the upgrade, but it can still be accessed until the administrator manually deletes it.
After signing in to the new account, enterprise members can migrate the AI data (such as session history, rules, memory, agents, and code index) from their old instance account to the new account in the IDE and JetBrains plug-in. History is not lost.
Q: Can the upgrade be undone or rolled back to the original Lingma?
A: No. The upgrade is irreversible and cannot be rolled back to Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) once completed. Before upgrading, please confirm that you have purchased the target instance, have sufficient seats, and understand the refund and credits transfer rules.
Q: How long does the upgrade take? Can members use the product normally during the upgrade?
A: The Enterprise Standard Edition upgrade completes within minutes. Members cannot use the product during the upgrade.
Q: Can the original instance still be renewed after the upgrade? Can it still be signed in to?
A: It cannot be renewed after the upgrade. We recommend completing the migration of members to the target instance as soon as possible.
Q: I already have a Qoder CN (full suite) enterprise subscription. Why can't I select the target instance when upgrading?
A: Being unable to select a target instance during the upgrade is usually one of the following two situations. Please check accordingly:
Q: How are the credits and resource packs in the original instance handled? When do they arrive, and how long are they valid?
A: Credits of seats that were assigned and activated in the current period are transferred to the target instance and are valid for 1 month; enterprise shared resource pack credits are valid for 3 months after transfer; original instances with no credits mechanism are not involved in credits transfer.
Q: How is the refund calculated, where is it refunded, and when does it arrive?
A: Refunds apply only to future-period subscriptions and renewal orders; the portion used in the current period is not refundable. Refunds are returned to the original payment account along the original path. Funds are typically returned to your original payment channel (Alipay/bank card) within 1-7 business days; the exact arrival time depends on the bank's processing time.
Q: Enterprise members previously signed in to Lingma with Alibaba Cloud RAM accounts. Is this supported after upgrading to Qoder CN (full suite)?
A: Yes. Both Qoder CN (full suite) Teams and Enterprise Edition subscriptions support Alibaba Cloud RAM account sign-in. The administrator needs to enable the Qoder CN RAM OAuth application in Qoder CN (full suite) and complete the related configuration step by step.
Please note the following limitations:
This upgrade is irreversible, and you must switch your sign-in method after upgrading. Please read this guide in full before upgrading.
1. Before You Upgrade
- Purchase the target instance first, with sufficient seats: Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) and Qoder CN (full suite) are different products and cannot be upgraded in place. You must purchase Qoder CN (full suite) in advance and ensure the target instance has enough seats. Upgrading from Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) to Qoder CN (full suite) follows a 1:1 mapping: one old (formerly Lingma) instance can only be upgraded to one new (full-suite) instance. Once the upgrade is complete, the new instance is "bound" to that old instance.
- The upgrade is irreversible: After the upgrade, enterprise members can no longer sign in to the Qoder CN IDE or JetBrains plug-in with their Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) instance accounts, and must sign in to the new instance again. The administrator distributes the target instance accounts to members and informs them of the Qoder CN IDE / JetBrains plug-in sign-in method.
- Enterprise users must switch after upgrading: After signing in to the new account, enterprise members can migrate the AI data (such as session history, rules, memory, agents, and code index) from their old instance account to the new account in the IDE and JetBrains plug-in. History is not lost.
- The VSC plug-in is no longer supported after the upgrade: If you currently rely on the VSC plug-in for daily development, we recommend switching to the Qoder CN IDE or JetBrains plug-in first.
- Experience the enterprise management capabilities of Qoder CN (full suite) first and confirm that you can accept the differences from the original Lingma. Features in the original Tongyi Lingma Enterprise Standard Edition such as statistical reports, knowledge management, and extension management are no longer supported. Please use the equivalent Qoder CN (full suite) modules such as Qoder CN metrics and insights, enterprise knowledge base, and extensions and marketplace. The counterpart to the original Lingma policy configuration is coming soon.

FAQ
Upgrade and rollback
Target instance selection
Q: I already have a Qoder CN (full suite) enterprise subscription. Why can't I select the target instance when upgrading?
A: Being unable to select a target instance during the upgrade is usually one of the following two situations. Please check accordingly:
- The target instance subscription is not in effect or has expired. The upgrade can only select a Qoder CN (full suite) instance that is within its validity period as the target. Please first confirm in the console that the subscription is still valid and not suspended due to overdue payment.
- The target instance has already been used as an upgrade target once. Upgrading from Qoder CN (formerly Lingma) to Qoder CN (full suite) follows a 1:1 mapping: one old (formerly Lingma) instance can only be upgraded to one new (full-suite) instance. Once the upgrade is complete, the new instance is "bound" to that old instance and can no longer serve as the upgrade target for another instance. If you have other original Lingma instances that need to be upgraded, please purchase a separate new Qoder CN (full suite) instance as the target for each.
Credits and refunds
RAM account sign-in
Q: Enterprise members previously signed in to Lingma with Alibaba Cloud RAM accounts.
- One Alibaba Cloud RAM account can only be associated with one Qoder CN (full suite) enterprise instance.
- A RAM account can only sign in to enterprise instances owned by the Alibaba Cloud primary account it belongs to; cross-account ID sign-in is not supported.
