This document outlines the rules, eligibility requirements, and limitations for QoderWork CN promotions, allowing new users to claim a first-month Pro Trial, university students and faculty to receive additional benefits, and all users to earn Credits by referring friends.
By participating in these programs, you ("User") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Violating this policy may result in the suspension or termination of your eligibility, and any program rewards will be forfeited. QoderWork CN reserves the right to determine eligibility and terminate participation at its sole discretion. QoderWork CN bases all judgments, standards, and decisions related to these programs on its records, data, and logs.
Credits: A technical unit used within the QoderWork CN platform to measure the volume of AI service calls. The actual number of uses depends on factors such as model type and input length. Once consumed, Credits cannot be restored. For more details, see Credits.
This promotion includes three main components:
This program is effective starting June 1, 2026. The duration of the program is subject to official announcements. QoderWork CN reserves the right to modify or terminate the program at any time. After the program ends, QoderWork CN will not award further Credits for incomplete referrals.
This program is available only to individual users of the QoderWork CN desktop client.
A "new user" is defined as a user who registers for QoderWork CN for the first time during the program period and has a Pro Trial status. The Pro Trial is valid for 14 days from registration and automatically converts to a Free user upon expiration. Once an account converts to a Free user, it is no longer considered a new user account and cannot claim this benefit. To be eligible, new users must complete registration or sign-in with a phone number or an Alibaba Cloud account during their Pro Trial period and must not have previously claimed this benefit. This offer can only be claimed once per device.
Eligibility is restricted to one benefit claim per person. The verified academic information of a student or faculty member can only be used to claim the benefit once. See Section 6 for detailed eligibility requirements.
Any registered QoderWork CN user with an account in good standing (i.e., not suspended, banned, or otherwise restricted) can participate in the referral program, regardless of whether they are a Pro user or Free user.
A referee must be a new user who has never registered for or used QoderWork CN. To establish a referral relationship, the referee must use the referrer's unique invitation link to visit the landing page, then download, register, and log in to the QoderWork CN client. See Section 7, "Referral program rules," for specific reward trigger conditions.
QoderWork CN reserves the right to determine user eligibility for this program at its sole discretion.
Academic enrollment requirement:
Applicants must be full-time students at a recognized higher education institution in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan. This includes full-time junior college, undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students.
Verifiable student status:
Faculty status requirement:
Applicants must be faculty members (including postdoctoral researchers) at a university or research institution in China and complete the identity verification as required by the program.
Verifiable proof of identity:
Upon expiration, the account will automatically revert to Free user status. No renewal or charges will apply.
A single ID card, phone number, CHSI account, or set of faculty verification information can be used to claim the benefit only once. The benefit cannot be stacked across multiple accounts.
If the program organizer detects any of the following activities, it reserves the right to immediately revoke the benefits, ban the account, and pursue legal action:
This is a limited-time program, and benefits are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. The end of the program will be announced on the official program website.
Education verification requires a review period; the status can be checked on the verification page. After approval, the user must manually confirm the claim on the claim page; the system does not issue Credits automatically. Once claimed successfully, the 4,000 Credits will be added to the account as a resource package, which can be viewed in the usage overview in the QoderWork CN client.
For each successful referral, the referrer will receive 200 Credits.
There may be a delay between the referee meeting the activation criteria and the referrer receiving the reward. Referee status is updated periodically, and rewards for successful referrals are credited to the referrer's account after confirmation. Awarded Credits are issued as a resource package and are valid for 1 month from the date of issuance. Users can check the expiration date of each resource package on the official website.
Each referrer can earn rewards for a maximum of 200 successful referrals through this program, for a total reward cap of 40,000 Credits. Referrals beyond the 200th successful referral will not be rewarded.
Referrers can track the progress of each referee on the referral details page. The statuses include:
Referee same person restriction: A single natural person or a single entity with actual control (including but not limited to using the same or associated identity information, phone number, device, payment account, or login environment) is considered a single referee. If the platform determines that multiple referees invited by a referrer are the same person, it will issue a reward only for the first of these referees who completes a valid registration and meets the successful referral criteria. The others will not be rewarded. Referees must not attempt to circumvent this restriction by changing accounts, phone numbers, devices, or other means. The platform reserves the right to make a comprehensive judgment based on reasonable evidence.
QoderWork CN will deem referrals invalid and ineligible for rewards if they do not meet the criteria of this program or are flagged as fraudulent or manipulative (such as self-referral, creating fake accounts, using spam, or other malicious promotion methods). If QoderWork CN determines that a referral activity is fraudulent, manipulative, or violates these terms, the associated users will be disqualified from the program, and any rewards already granted will be revoked. QoderWork CN reserves the right to take further action, including but not limited to suspending or terminating the associated accounts.

1. Program overview
This promotion includes three main components:
- New user credit claim: Pro Trial users can claim 2,000 Credits within 14 days of registration. This total includes 300 Credits granted automatically at signup and an additional 1,700 Credits that you must claim manually. The Credits are valid for 30 days from the claim date.
- Additional benefits for university students and faculty: Users who have completed university student or faculty verification with their Alibaba Cloud account can receive an additional 4,000 Credits (valid for 3 months) when they log in to QoderWork CN with that account.
- Referral rewards: All users can invite friends to register for QoderWork CN using a personal invitation link. Successful referrals earn Credit rewards.
2. Program period

3. Scope

4. Eligible participants
4.1 New users (credit claim program)

4.2 University students and faculty (verification program)

4.3 Referrers (referral program)

4.4 Referees (referral program)
A referee must be a new user who has never registered for or used QoderWork CN. To establish a referral relationship, the referee must use the referrer's unique invitation link to visit the landing page, then download, register, and log in to the QoderWork CN client. See Section 7, "Referral program rules," for specific reward trigger conditions.
QoderWork CN reserves the right to determine user eligibility for this program at its sole discretion.
5. Program 1: New user 2,000 Credits claim
5.1 Claim process
- When a new user registers and logs in to the QoderWork CN client, their account is granted Pro Trial status, which is valid for 14 days from registration. The system automatically issues 300 Credits, which expire with the Pro Trial.
- Within the 14-day Pro Trial period, the new user must click "Claim Now" in the client to receive a 1,700 Credits resource package. After claiming, the account status remains Pro Trial, but the trial period is extended to 30 days from the claim date. The validity of the initial 300 Credits is also extended to this 30-day period, for a total of 2,000 Credits (not 2,300).
- If a user does not claim the benefit within the 14-day Pro Trial period, they forfeit the benefit. Upon expiration, the account will automatically convert to a Free user and will no longer be eligible to claim the benefit.
- When the 30-day Pro Trial period ends, the account automatically reverts to Free user status. No subscription renewal or charges will apply. Any unused Credits from other resource packages in the account (such as the 3-month package from the university verification program) that are still within their validity period are not affected by this status change and can continue to be used.
5.2 Limitations
- This benefit can only be claimed by users whose account has Pro Trial status (i.e., within 14 days of registration and not yet expired) and who have not previously claimed this benefit. Accounts that have converted to a Free user after the Pro Trial expired, or accounts that have already claimed the benefit, are not eligible to claim it again.
- This offer is limited to one claim per person. The term "per person" refers to a single natural person or a single entity with actual control. Accounts that share or are associated with the same identity information, phone number, device, payment account, or login environment are considered the same user.
- The first-month Pro benefit can only be claimed once per device. If the system detects multiple accounts attempting to claim the benefit on the same device, the system treats all attempts as originating from a single participant and permits only one claim. Users must not attempt to circumvent this same person restriction by changing accounts, phone numbers, devices, or other means. The platform reserves the right to make a comprehensive judgment based on reasonable evidence.
6. Program 2: University verification for 4,000 Credits
6.1 Eligibility requirements
6.1.1 University student eligibility requirements
Academic enrollment requirement:
Applicants must be full-time students at a recognized higher education institution in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan. This includes full-time junior college, undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students.
Verifiable student status:
- For students in the Chinese mainland, their student status must show as "Enrolled" and be verifiable online through the China Higher Education Student Information and Career Center (CHSI, https://www.chsi.com.cn), and they must complete student identity verification through Alipay.
- Students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, as well as international students, can contact customer support for manual verification by providing a photo of themselves holding their ID and a photo of their student ID or card that displays their student information.
- Applicants must be newly registered users or non-paying Free users of QoderWork CN at the time of application.
- Applicants must log in to QoderWork CN using the Alibaba Cloud account that has completed the student verification.
- Each student verification can be used to claim the benefit only once (same person restriction applies).
6.1.2 University faculty eligibility requirements
Faculty status requirement:
Applicants must be faculty members (including postdoctoral researchers) at a university or research institution in China and complete the identity verification as required by the program.
Verifiable proof of identity:
- Applicants must submit their faculty information in the verification form, including name, institution, department, and contact phone number, along with proof of faculty status and affiliation (choose one: teacher's certificate, proof of employment, faculty ID card, or personal homepage).
- If the information is valid, a notification of the review result will be sent within 2 business days.
- Applicants must be newly registered users or non-paying Free users of QoderWork CN at the time of application.
- Applicants must log in to QoderWork CN using the Alibaba Cloud account that has completed the faculty verification.
- The corresponding Alibaba Cloud account must have completed a real-name verification that matches the applicant's identity.
- Each faculty verification can be used to claim the benefit only once (same person restriction applies).
6.2 Program benefits
6.2.1 Benefit content
- Each eligible and verified university student or faculty member will receive an additional 4,000 QoderWork CN Credits, on top of the 2,000 Credits (valid for 30 days) available to new users.
- These benefits are issued as a resource package with a validity period of 3 months from the date of issuance.
- University student or faculty verification does not extend the Pro Trial period or the 30-day validity of the new user's 2,000 Credits.
6.2.2 Exclusions
- Benefits cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred, resold, withdrawn, or used to offset fees for other products.
- Benefits cannot be combined with other concurrent discount coupons, limited-time offers, or enterprise edition licenses.
- Benefits do not include higher-tier capabilities such as industry-specific Team customizations.
- Benefits cannot be applied retroactively to past versions or granted for future versions.
6.2.3 Benefit expiration
Upon expiration, the account will automatically revert to Free user status. No renewal or charges will apply.
6.3 Participation process
- Visit the Alibaba Cloud QoderWork CN program page at https://university.aliyun.com/action/qoder.
- Log in to your Alibaba Cloud account and follow the prompts to complete real-name verification and either student or faculty verification. This step can be skipped if you have already completed verification within the last month.
- University student verification: Follow the on-page instructions to verify your identity by querying your CHSI academic records through Alipay. If you cannot complete verification through Alipay, contact Alibaba Cloud official customer support with a photo of yourself holding your ID and a photo of your student ID card for manual processing.
- University faculty verification: Follow the on-page instructions to submit your faculty information in the verification form and await manual review, which may take up to 2 business days.
- After your verification is approved, click the "Claim Now" button on the verification page to be redirected to the QoderWork CN claim page. The system will check your verification and login status. Ensure you are logged in with the same Alibaba Cloud account used for verification, otherwise you will be unable to claim the benefit.
- After claiming the benefit on the page, open the QoderWork CN client. The 4,000 Credits resource package will be available in the usage overview in the top-right corner. Please allow up to 1 hour for the Credits to appear in your account.
6.4 Rules and limitations
6.4.1 Same person restriction
A single ID card, phone number, CHSI account, or set of faculty verification information can be used to claim the benefit only once. The benefit cannot be stacked across multiple accounts.
6.4.2 Violations
If the program organizer detects any of the following activities, it reserves the right to immediately revoke the benefits, ban the account, and pursue legal action:
- Forging academic or faculty status, impersonating another person's CHSI account, or using altered images of student/faculty IDs or related screenshots.
- Using technical means to bypass identity verification, engaging in bulk registration, or artificially inflating usage to exploit the program.
- Selling or reselling claimed Pro benefits or accounts.
- Using QoderWork CN Pro benefits for illegal activities or to infringe upon the legal rights of third parties.
6.4.3 Program time limit

7. Program 3: Referral program
7.1 Successful referral definition
- The referrer obtains their unique invitation link from within the QoderWork CN client and shares it with a friend who has not yet registered for QoderWork CN.
- The referee uses the link to visit the QoderWork CN landing page, then downloads, registers for, and logs in to the client.
- A referral becomes successful when the referee completes their first conversation (consumes at least 1 Credit) within 14 days of registration.
7.2 Referrer rewards
For each successful referral, the referrer will receive 200 Credits.

8. General terms
- Non-transferable: Rewards are non-transferable and have no cash value.
- Compliance with laws: Participants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to those related to advertising, promotion, and data privacy. Any referral activity that violates the law, including deceptive or misleading practices, is strictly prohibited.
- Accurate representation: Referrers must accurately and truthfully represent QoderWork CN's products, services, and features. Making false, exaggerated, or misleading statements is prohibited.
- Non-disparagement: Participants must not engage in any activity that disparages QoderWork CN, its products, services, or reputation.
- Prohibited activities: Participants must not engage in spamming, send unsolicited messages, or use other forms of harassing communication. Using fraudulent, unethical, or coercive means to obtain referrals is prohibited.
- Self-referral: Participants are strictly prohibited from engaging in self-referral or any activity designed to manipulate the program for personal gain.
- Cancellation, forfeiture, and account actions: QoderWork CN will immediately cancel, forfeit, or reclaim any issued rewards if a participant violates any obligation, term, condition, requirement, policy, law, or rule related to their account or any QoderWork CN service or product. In addition, QoderWork CN may take punitive action against the associated accounts, such as suspension or termination.
- Confidentiality: Participants must maintain the confidentiality of any non-public information shared by QoderWork CN during the program and any information related to referees, and must not disclose it to third parties.
- Program changes: QoderWork CN reserves the right to modify or cancel this program, including its terms, reward structure, or eligibility criteria, at any time. Changes will be communicated through official channels. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
