Qoder for Qwen AI Glasses

Product Overview

Qoder for Qwen AI Glasses is the voice-first version of Qoder designed for Qwen AI Glasses. It does not simply move Qoder’s desktop interface onto the lenses. Instead, it creates a voice-led interaction flow: Qoder provides the intelligence, while the glasses give it eyes, ears, and a voice. You can invoke Qoder at any time, then talk while looking at what matters. Approvals and key updates appear directly in your field of view, so important decisions are only a glance away. Your screen, a whiteboard, or a real-world worksite can also become part of the task through a first-person view, giving Qoder the visual and audio context it needs to understand and act.

Getting Started

First-time setup takes two steps. Once your account is linked, you can launch Qoder directly from the glasses whenever you want to use it. Open the 千问 AI 穿戴 app on your phone, then go to: Me → Account & Security → More Services → Link Qoder Account

Step 2: Launch Qoder on the Glasses

Use either of the following methods:
  • Launch manually: On the glasses’ Home screen, swipe forward or backward on the temple to browse. When you find Qoder, tap the temple once to open it.
  • Launch by voice: Say “夸克同学,打开 Qoder” (“Hey Quark, open Qoder”).
“夸克同学” is the system wake phrase for Qwen AI Glasses and is only needed to launch Qoder. Once Qoder is open, no wake phrase is required: just start speaking. You can also interrupt Qoder at any time by speaking.

Optional Connection Check

The first time you open Qoder, try saying “What can you do?” or “Show me my recent projects” to confirm that your account and voice connection are working.

Key Features

3.1 Everyday Questions

Look up and ask—no wake phrase and no typing required. It is especially useful when your hands are on the keyboard or when you are on the move. Try saying:
  • “Write a research report on the AI glasses industry.”
  • “Find the latest hot topics in the AI industry.”
How Qoder responds: Qoder answers conversationally and usually summarizes the key point in two sentences. It will not squeeze a long analysis onto the lenses: you will hear a spoken summary, while the full content is sent to your phone.
Interrupt at any time: You can start speaking while Qoder is still talking—for example, “Stop. Just tell me about the backend.” You do not need to wait for it to finish or repeat the wake phrase. This is one of the biggest differences between Qoder on glasses and a push-to-talk experience, so it is worth trying the first time you use it.

3.2 Cloud Tasks

Delegate an entire piece of work to Qoder. The task runs in the cloud, so you can walk away as soon as you finish speaking. Try saying:
  • “Implement the export feature and run the tests when you’re done.”
  • “Fix this error and run the tests afterward.”
  • “Check what’s still missing from that page we worked on last time, then finish it.”
What happens next:
  1. Qoder accepts the task and continues working in the background. You can leave for a meeting or get a drink while the task keeps moving forward.
  2. If Qoder reaches a decision that needs your input, it proactively asks you and reads the available options one by one. Say “the second one” to choose—no device interaction required. Your phone also displays an alert when confirmation is needed.
  3. When the task is complete, Qoder sends a notification. Tap the temple once to hear a summary; the full result is sent to your phone.
Qoder remembers your projects: Because project context carries over, you can simply say, “Finish that page from last time,” without explaining the background again. A single voice instruction carries much less information than a typed brief, so persistent project context is what makes voice delegation practical.

3.3 Desktop Tasks: Check or Create

Qoder on your glasses and Qoder on your computer share the same workspace. After leaving your desk, you can still check tasks running on your computer or send it new work. Check—ask about a desktop task:
  • “Has that task on my computer finished?”
  • “What is currently running on my computer?”
Create—send a new task to your computer:
  • “Start a task on my computer to update the login page styling.”
Why it matters: A task often outlasts the time you spend sitting at your desk. Your computer stays on the desk while the glasses stay with you, so you do not need to walk back just to check progress.

3.4 Camera Capture

Let Qoder see what you are looking at. There is no viewfinder: what you see is what the glasses capture. Look directly at the subject, then say what you want Qoder to do. Try saying:
  • “Take a picture. What’s wrong here?”—while looking at an error dialog or a malfunctioning device.
  • “Take a picture of the whiteboard and turn these items into tasks.”—while looking at a meeting whiteboard or paper flowchart.
  • “Take a picture and update it to match this.”—while looking at a design or someone else’s screen.
What happens next: Qoder first describes what it sees and asks you to confirm before taking further action. This reduces errors caused by the lack of a viewfinder. If the description is inaccurate, correct Qoder immediately or ask it to take another picture. Why this experience is unique to glasses: A phone can take pictures too, but you need to take it out, raise it, and aim it. With glasses, you only need to look at the subject. This is especially useful for whiteboards, paper documents, physical devices, and other people’s screens—things that are difficult to describe in words but are already right in front of you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not yet. Qoder for Qwen AI Glasses currently supports Qoder CN accounts only; Global accounts are not supported. Register or switch to a CN account before linking.

Q: When will it be available?

The product is expected to launch at the Apsara Conference in September 2026.

Q: Do I need to say “夸克同学” every time I speak?

No. “夸克同学,打开 Qoder” is only used to launch Qoder. Once Qoder is open, you can speak naturally without a wake phrase. You can also find Qoder by swiping forward or backward on the temple from the Home screen, then tapping the temple once to open it—no wake phrase required.

Q: Qoder is still speaking, but I want to change my request. Do I have to wait?

No. Start speaking to interrupt it. Qoder will immediately switch to your new request.

Q: I cannot see the full content on the lenses. Is something broken?

No. The glasses show only single-line text prompts and voice status, while conclusions are delivered by voice. Long-form content, comparison data, and original images are sent to your phone. This is an intentional design choice: putting code or tables into a single line of green text would not be useful.

Q: Do I need to keep wearing the glasses while a task runs in the background?

No. You do not need to keep wearing the glasses or stay in one place. The task continues in the background, and Qoder notifies you when it is complete. To hear the notification on the glasses, put them on and tap the temple once. You can also view the result directly on your phone.

Q: Why does Qoder suddenly ask me a question?

When a task reaches a decision that requires your input, Qoder asks proactively instead of pausing and waiting for you to check. It reads the options one by one; say the option number, such as “the second one,” to choose.

Q: How do I open a notification? Can I open it by voice?

Tap the temple once to view a notification. Notifications can only be opened with a single tap on the temple; voice opening is not currently supported. The only manual controls on the glasses are tapping and swiping the temple. All other steps can be completed by voice.

Q: What should I do if I cannot find the account-linking option in the 千问 AI 穿戴 app?

The option is not on the Home screen. Go to Me → Account & Security → More Services, then link your Qoder account. If Qoder still does not appear there, update the 千问 AI 穿戴 app to the latest version and confirm that the glasses have already been paired in the app.

Q: What should I do if I cannot find Qoder on the glasses’ Home screen?

Swipe forward or backward on the temple to browse the Home screen; Qoder may not be on the first page. You can also say “夸克同学,打开 Qoder.” If neither method works, return to “Step 1: Link Your Qoder Account” and confirm that account linking is complete on your phone.

Q: What should I do if account linking fails?

Check the following in order:
  1. Make sure you are using a Qoder CN account. Global accounts are not currently supported.
  2. Make sure the Qoder CN mobile app is installed and you are signed in.
  3. Update the 千问 AI 穿戴 app to the latest version.
  4. Check your network connection.
If linking is incomplete, the glasses will direct you to finish the process on your phone.

Q: What should I do if I see an insufficient quota message?

Complete a subscription on the official website, then reopen the app to continue.

Q: What should I do if initialization fails or Qoder cannot connect?

The current page closes automatically after an initialization failure. Check your network connection, then launch Qoder again. For live demonstrations, prepare a mobile hotspot as a backup network in advance.

Q: What should I do if Qoder misidentifies what the camera sees?

Before acting, Qoder describes the captured scene. Correct it immediately or ask it to take another picture. Keep the subject centered in your field of view, make sure the area is well lit, and watch for reflections when capturing a screen.

Q: Can I use Qoder in a noisy environment?

Yes, but wake-word-free interaction relies on continuous audio capture, so speech recognition accuracy may decrease in noisy environments.

Q: Is Qoder always taking pictures?

No. The camera is activated only when you explicitly ask Qoder to take a picture.
